Nifty50

Nifty50 shrugged off last week's dullness with a positive opening and went on to gain further momentum today. It is trading 160 points higher at 17690 levels.

For the October monthly series, call options have the highest base at 18,000 and 18,500 levels and put options have the highest base at 17,000 and 17,500 levels.

Weekly options expiring on October 7 have the highest call options base at 18,000 and 17,800 levels and put options have the highest base at 17,600 and 17,500 levels.

This data indicates Immediate support and resistance continues at 17,600 and 17,800 levels.

Bank Nifty

Bank Nifty is trading comfortably in the green today, up by 350 points at 37,570 levels.

October monthly call options for Bank Nifty have the highest base at 39,000 followed by 38,000 strikes. Put options now have their highest base at 36,000 and 37,500 strikes.

Weekly options expiring on October 7 have the highest call options base at 38,000 and 37,500 levels and put options have the highest base at 37,500 and 37,000 levels.

Immediate support and resistance continue to be at 37,500 and 38,800 levels as per the weekly options data.


Global Markets Update

Major European markets have opened in the red today and are trading down by nearly 0.5%. US Futures are also trading in the red, with the Dow Futures trading down by almost 180 points.
