⭐ Delhivery plans expansion in major cities 🚚
Logistics company Delhivery is planning to expand its infrastructure in Bhiwandi (Greater Mumbai) and Bengaluru. It is collaborating with Welspun for a 700,000 square feet mega-gateway in Greater Mumbai. Meanwhile, it is working with GMR for a one million-plus square feet facility, to be used as a warehouse for multi-channel order fulfilment. These will be operational by 2023, and will increase the company's processing capacity.
⭐ Matrimony.com announces buyback record date 😍
Shares of Matrimony.com were up 6.6%, after it announced the details of a planned ₹75 crore share buyback. The company has set 4 July as the record date. The buyback price has been fixed at ₹1,150 per share. This is a nearly 40% premium compared to the closing price of ₹823 a share on Wednesday (22 June).
⭐ Domestic air passenger traffic rises 🛫
Domestic air travel is witnessing a comeback in demand despite rising airfares. As per data from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Indian carriers flew 1.20 crore passengers domestically in May. This is about 11% higher than the air traffic witnessed in April.
