⭐ Campus Activewear to expand capacity

Sports footwear maker has acquired a land parcel in Himachal Pradesh for ₹16.7 crore. The company acquired this land from FMCG major Marico. The deal will help Campus Activewear expand its capacity for manufacturing semi-finished goods and assembling footwear.

⭐ US inflation eases further

Retail inflation in the US eased to 5% in March 2023. The inflation rate was the lowest since May 2021 and below the market forecast of 5.2%. Food and energy prices eased during the period.

⭐ India becomes a hub for mobile exports

Mobile phone exports from India have doubled, surpassing ₹90,000 crore in FY23, according to the industry body India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA). As per reports, iPhone maker Apple accounting for around half of the total exports.
