Istanbul Airport topped the 2025 T+L World’s Best Awards with a score of 98.57, recognised for its design, strong connectivity and increasing global relevance.

Singapore’s Changi Airport is no longer at the top. In 2025, another airport has quietly taken back the title of the world’s best.

Changi Airport has slipped to second place in the 2025 Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, just a year after regaining the top rank.

The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards are based on reader votes, evaluating airports on access, check-in, design, food, shopping and overall value.

Changi Airport ranked 2nd, followed by Hamad in Doha, Zayed in Abu Dhabi at 4th and Dubai International Airport rounding out the top five in 2025.

Istanbul Airport’s spacious layout, modern design, efficient transit system and growing flight network have helped it gain strong favour among international travellers.

Istanbul’s rise to the top highlights how airport rankings are shifting with changing traveller expectations and habits.

Passenger feedback, airport facilities and overall service helped Istanbul reclaim the top spot in the global rankings.

Mumbai Airport earned the 9th spot for its cleaner terminals, faster check-ins, improved passenger flow and better retail and dining options across key areas.
