ICICI Bank
Founded in 1995, ICICI bank is the second largest bank in India, with a market-cap of ₹8.5 lakh crore. The private sector bank listed on the exchanges in June 2007.
SBI
Ranking third on the list, the State Bank of India (SBI) has a market-cap of ₹7.69 lakh crore. With a market share of 23%, the bank has more than 233 foreign branches in 36 countries.
Axis Bank
With a market cap of ₹3.62 lakh crore, Axis Bank is the fourth largest bank in India. Founded in 1993, the private sector bank launched its IPO in 1998.
Kotak Mahindra
Ranking fifth on the list, Kotak Mahindra has a market cap of ₹3.56 lakh crore. The private sector bank which launched its IPO in 1992, was founded in November 1985.
