Carved by some of the most renowned sculptors of the 20th century, here are some of the priciest sculptures ever sold at auctions.

Sold for: $70.7 million (2015)
The Tête is a part of 27 known sculptures by Amedeo Modigliani, inspired by the geometric forms of African sculptures.
