7 man-made structures visible from space!

The International Space Station has captured some of the best views of Earth’s iconic structures from space. 

Let’s have a look at the human-made structures visible to the naked eye from space. 

This human-made island in Dubai, shaped like a palm tree, is one of the only few human-made objects visible from space.

The Giza pyramids in Egypt were captured by NASA astronauts from the space station for the first time in 2001.

This huge dam in China built alongside the Yangtze River is visible from space. The dam, stretching 3,900 miles, was captured by NASA's Landsat satellite.

Also known as the Bingham Canyon Mine, located near Salt Lake City in the US state of Utah, is the world's largest human-made excavation and is visible from space.

This human-made sea-level waterway in Egypt is a key trade route between the continents of Europe and Asia. It is clearly visible from space.
