5 ways life on the ISS is different from Earth

Moving around
On the International Space Station (ISS), everything floats due to zero gravity. Everyday tasks like moving around or holding objects are a challenge without the pull of gravity!

Eating food
Astronauts can't enjoy freshly cooked meals. They have to eat prepackaged food that must be rehydrated before eating.

Using the washroom
Bathrooms have a vacuum suction system instead of a flush. Astronauts must even strap themselves down to stay in place!

Sleeping
On the ISS, astronauts sleep in sleeping bags attached to walls to avoid floating around while they rest in a weightless environment.
