Bharat Forge Q1 net profit declines 18% to ₹175 crore
Bharat Forge on Thursday said its consolidated net profit declined 18% to ₹175 crore in the June 2024 quarter.
The diversified firm reported a net profit of ₹214 crore during the April-June quarter of last fiscal.

MRF net profit dips to ₹571 crore in June quarter
Tyre maker MRF on Thursday said its consolidated net profit declined by 3% year-on-year to ₹571 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024.
The company had reported a net profit of ₹589 crore in the April-June quarter of last fiscal.

India's forex reserves at record high of USD 675 billion: Das
The country's forex reserves touched a record high of USD 675 billion on August 2, Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das said on Thursday.
The previous all-time high for the kitty was USD 670.857 billion on July 19 this year, and the last reported reserve was USD 667.386 billion as on July 26.
Das said overall, the country's external sector "remains resilient" as indicated by an improvement in key indicators.

Shares of infrastructure company Ceigall India Ltd on Thursday listed with a premium of nearly 4.5% against the issue price of ₹401.
The stock started the trade at ₹413, reflecting a gain of 2.99% from the issue price on the BSE. Later it jumped 5.98$ to ₹425.

RBI maintains status quo for 9th time in a row; retains repo rate at 6.5%
