Jyoti Structures locked in 5% upper circuit on ₹118-crore order win from Adani Energy
Jyoti Structures informed the stock exchanges in a filing on July 16 that it has received an order from Adani Energy Solutions Limited for the construction and part supply of the 765kV D/C KPS III-AP44 Transmission Line.
The transmission line will be constructed in Phase IV-Part A Khavda, Gujarat. The approximate length of the transmission line is 111 kilometres, according to the filing. The size of the order is ₹117.74 crore, including GST.
The order will be completed by October 10, 2025, the company informed the bourses.
Jyoti Structures shares opened higher at ₹25.89 apiece on the NSE and rallied further to hit the 5% upper circuit limit at ₹27.06 apiece.
The power sector engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company’s shares have gained more than 223% in the past one year and 20% in the last six months. In the last five sessions the stock has jumped 4.48%, while rising 5.74% in the past one month.
Jyoti Structures’ consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, fell 17% to ₹128.95 crore compared to ₹155.83 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal. The company’s revenue from operations for the full financial year ended March 31, 2024, stood at ₹451.38 crore, up 97% compared to ₹229.23 crore in FY23.
The company’s net profit in Q4FY24 increased 155% to ₹14.12 crore compared to ₹5.54 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal. The company turned profitable in FY24 with a net profit of ₹28.85 crore compared to a net loss of ₹4.07 crore in FY23.
Jyoti Structures Ltd (JSL) is a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services provider. The company offers services such as designing, testing, construction and supply of transmission lines, substations and microwave towers. The company claims to have built nearly 31,000 km of transmission lines for various projects across more than 50 countries.
