Bajaj Housing Finance IPO: 5 things to know

Bajaj Housing Finance (BHF) is a housing finance company offering financial solutions for buying and renovating houses. It is a subsidiary of Bajaj Finance (which is a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv). 

The much-awaited initial public offering of Bajaj Housing Finance will open for subscription on September 9.

The price band for the IPO has been fixed between ₹66 to ₹70 per share of the face value ₹10. 

The bidding for anchor investors will take place on September 6.

According to BHF’s filing with the SEBI, red herring prospectus (RHP), the proposed IPO’s size is ₹6,560 crore. 

It is a mix of a fresh issue of shares worth ₹3,560 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to ₹3,000 crore by parent Bajaj Finance.

The company aims to use the IPO funds to strengthen its capital base for future operations and to build a public presence while gaining brand recognition.
