The launch comes just a day after it unveiled the new Royal Enfield Scram 440, which is expected to be launched next year. It will be a more powerful and efficient replacement of the existing model Scram 411.

M&M recently launched its new electric Vehicles, BE 6e and XEV 9e, which are the company’s first ground-up electric SUVs, designed using Mahindra’s INGLO platform.

Honda Activa has launched its maiden electric scooters, the Activa e: and QC1, both with 1.5kWh capacity and a range of 102 km when fully charged.

The vehicles are a part of Honda’s aim to launch 30 EVs by 2050. The Activa e: will be equipped with a swappable battery, which can be exchanged at Honda’s swapping stations across the country.

In addition to Ola’s existing EVs, the company has now launched affordable EVs for gig workers, named Ola Gig, Gig+, S1 Z and S1 Z+, starting at just ₹39,000.

The EVs will be equipped with a 1.5 kWh battery and a range of up to 157 km. The company is planning to launch 20 new EVs in the next two years.
