FADA reported a 26% YoY growth in India’s passenger vehicle retail at 3.95 lakh units in February, with 21% surge in the urban market and 34% increase in rural markets.
It attributed the demand growth in Feb to improved affordability following GST rationalisation, the wedding season and healthy booking pipelines supported by new model introductions.
