As we celebrate the 52nd World Development Information Day, let us look at some of the least developed countries in the world as per the Human Development Index (HDI).
The Human Development Index is a composite measure of development in a country, encompassing three key aspects: life expectancy, years of schooling, and standard of living.
HDI is measured on a scale of 0 to 1.00, with a score below 0.55 considered low and a score above 0.80 considered very high.
