In the 2000s, the Indian pharma retail outlets were extremely “curative” in nature. In other words, they would only offer medicines and the “wellness” quotient was missing. Three friends, who were running their respective stores, realized that they can come together to improve customer experience and create a premium wellness brand. Hence, along with selling medicines, they decided to offer a wide range of products such as fast moving consumer goods, fast moving health goods, nutraceuticals and medical equipment.
This was the key differentiator for the Wellness Forever brand. Since then, this unique approach has helped the company grow multi-fold and expand its footprints to 23 India cities through a network of 236 stores.
