Payments API Launch

Effective Date: May 4, 2026

We are introducing Payments APIs for the Upstox developer platform. These endpoints let you retrieve the most recent pay-in and payout transactions for an authenticated user — including amount, payment mode, status, bank name, and applicable charges.

What's included?

The Payments suite includes the following APIs:

1. Get Payins:

   • Description: Returns the pay-in (fund deposit) transactions for the authenticated user, including amount, mode, status, bank name, transaction ID, and charge details.

2. Get Payouts:

   • Description: Returns the payout (fund withdrawal) transactions for the authenticated user, including amount, mode, status, bank name, transaction ID, and charge details.

Initiate Payout — Initiate a fund withdrawal from the trading account to the registered bank account directly via API.
