Analytics Token Now Supports Portfolio & Trade APIs via Static IPโ
Effective Date: June 6, 2026
Your trading data just became far easier to work with. The Analytics Token โ a single, long-lived token with 1-year validity โ now unlocks read-only access to your account-specific APIs when paired with Static IP. Generate it once, and for a full year you can analyze your portfolio, positions, holdings, orders, and profit & loss without re-authorizing every day.
No daily OAuth flow. No expiring sessions. Just one extended token built for analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
Why This Mattersโ
- Analyze your entire portfolio โ pull positions, holdings, and MTF positions to track exposure and performance over time.
- Understand your P&L โ access trade-wise profit & loss reports, charges, and metadata to build accurate performance and tax-ready reports.
- Review your full trading history โ fetch orders, order history, trades, and mutual fund activity for deep analysis.
- Set it and forget it โ one token, valid for 1 year, with no daily regeneration โ perfect for always-on dashboards and automated analytics pipelines.
What's Now Accessible with Static IPโ
With Static IP enabled on your account, the Analytics Token now works with the GET APIs in these account-specific categories:
- User โ get profile, funds, and margin
- Portfolio โ get positions, MTF positions, and holdings
- Orders โ get order book, order history, and trades
- GTT Orders โ get GTT order details
- Mutual Fund โ get orders, SIPs, and holdings
- Trade Profit And Loss โ get P&L reports, charges, and metadata
- Payments โ get pay-ins and payouts
Only GET (read-only) APIs are supported โ write operations such as placing, modifying, or cancelling are not available with the Analytics Token. Market-data and other public GET APIs (Market Quote, Historical Data, Option Chain, Market Information, Fundamentals, News, IPO, and Websocket) continue to work without Static IP.
Important Notesโ
- The Analytics Token is strictly read-only โ only GET APIs are supported. It cannot place, modify, or cancel orders.
- Account-specific APIs require Static IP to be enabled, as these endpoints return sensitive account data.
- Each account can have one active Analytics Token at a time, valid for 1 year from generation.
How to Get Startedโ
